About the founder

Hey, I'm Raunaq, the founder for Bluebell. I started this project because I want to make quality education accessible to everyone. The variance of education quality across the country has frustrated me for a long time, and I wanted to do something about it. Bluebell is my attempt to do that - not by replacing teachers, but by providing an extra resource that any student can use whenever they need it.

I am currently a PhD student in Astrophysics and have done a fair share of studying in my time. I remember what it was like to be a GCSE student, and how stressful it can be trying to juggle all the different subjects and revision resources at the same time. What annoys me most is the disparity in access to good revision resources. Some students have private tutors, revision courses and stacks of past-paper booklets. Others don't have any of that. The difference it makes is huge, and it's not fair.

So I have started building Bluebell — a free GCSE tutoring platform that gives every student access to learning support that's easy to use and (hopefully) actually fun. It's not meant to replace teachers. Think of it more like an extra revision buddy that's available 24/7, whenever you need it.

This project is still in its early days and is constantly being developed. It's a work in progress, and it always will be. But I am really excited about it and hope it can make a difference for students across the country.
